Acted as the Principal Advisor to Occidental Petroleum Corporation for negotiation and implementation of oil and gas exploration and production sharing contracts in Bangladesh and advised UNOCAL Bangladesh on strategic planning. His professional career began at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in Washington D.C., where his last position was as Director of Computer and Information Services. He has held directorship with Gulf Regal Corporation, Universal Exchange Corporation and US.-Bangladesh Business Council. He is the Founder Chairman of Advanced Development Technologies Limited, one of the leading real estate developers in Bangladesh. Florin G Rahman

Ms. Rahman has been in the garments and textile business in Bangladesh for over 25 years, both as merchandiser and manufacturer. Starting her career as merchandising executive at Detex, Ltd. and later as Managing Director of United Apparel Industries, both Hong Kong based buying houses. Prior to joining SYF Group, Ms. Rahman was the Director/COO of Bani Garments Ltd, concurrently working as Advisor/COO of the garments unit of Banichitra Pratisthan Ltd. She was the Managing Director of Hecny Transportation (an international freight forwarding company) in Bangladesh and currently a Director of HTL. M Farud Uddin

Mr. Uddin has 30 years of experience in exploration geology and development of oil and gas projects with State owned oil company (OGDC, Pakistan and PetroBangla, Bangladesh) and with international oil company (Ocean Energy, USA and UMIC, USA). M.Sc, Geology, Dhaka University; MBA, Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University; Certificate in Applied Petroleum Geology, OGCI, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Veronique Franchi Yousuf

Ms. Yousuf has wide management and marketing experience in the retail and hospitality industry. From 1987 to 1992 she worked as the Director of Sales and Marketing, Henley Park Hotel in Washington D.C. and prior to that she was the Director of Marketing, Ramada Inn Central, Washington D.C. and Assistant Director of Operations for five hotels in Washington D.C., owned and operated by Taj International Hotels (TATA Group). B.Sc in Business Administration, George Mason University, Virginia.
